Hi Sharon and welcome!! We are so glad to have you aboard! I am 12 weeks along, and slowly coming into a new life, and I feel wonderful. I had a subtotal, keeping my cervix, my ovaries, and a smaller, shorter, less painful version of Dear Aunt Flo....I will take it!

Thanks for the welcome Kat

I had a vaginal hysterectomy. I have both of my ovaries and the surgery was a breeze, the gas was a blast, I am still a little tender at times, but it's nothing I can't handle. I must say that I feel like a new woman. I do not miss the flooding and pain that I endured before the surgery, the Doc removed two grapefruits and a few grapes a little short from a fruit basket (smile). But some of the things that I experienced during the 6 months hyster sister has truly supported me with my questions.
Again thanks
Very grateful to have big sisters
