Joints aching help

The past 2 days I've had all my joints hurt. Has anyone had there joints ache. I'm 2 1/2 weels post-op. I'm hoping this is not something I developed from having a hystererctomy.
Thanks,
Jennifer

re: aching jionts

I have really bad left hip and my doc put me on nayproxen. It takes awhile to take effect but it has really helped me.
I had to go off it one week before my op. what a killer. You dont realize how much your meds help till you cant take them.

Joints aching help

I had joint pain after my last ovary was removed so maybe it has something to do with being in menopause...I think I have to do some research now

i did look it up and joint pain can be a symptom of menopause, so that explains it for me then, do you ladies still have your ovaries?

My doc's answer

I'm 15 days post-op and I'm having the same thing. I asked the doc about it at my 2 week check-up and he said that it is probably pain from the odd positioning on the O.R. table. I use a flax seed pillow heated up and it makes me feel great!

Love and blessings,
Angie K.

Thank you all so much for the info! I still have my ovaries so I dont think it is menopause.I did think it could be the position I was in during surgery but how weird that I didnt start feeling it until now...3 weeks later. Also my arms hurt. Its not just my legs it is like my whole body! Like Ive been run over .lol Oh well I am sure it will get better with time. Thanks again! Ginalee
