Five Weeks

Hey Girlies,
I've Five weeks on Tuesday and my mind and family thinks I'm Eight weeks. I've been feeling good for the most part. I get real tired and grumpy around 7 pm and regret a day spent of overdoing. I've having minimal menopausal symptoms and I feel very blessed for that. I think I had them all before surgery. Today by 5:30 I must clean my house, bake two apple pies, wrap some presents, visit mom for Christmas with my sister that lives out of state, coach a ballgame, and cook supper! I'm already feeling like I've overdone it. Prayers would be much appreciated.
I'm also having a horrible bout of constipation due to being on Antibiotics for an ear infection. Things need to get MOVING!!!
THANKS FOR THE FREEDOM OF VENTING.

Five Weeks

Hey you!

This is a very busy season, and sooooo tough for the healing princess. The more you do, the more everyone around you thinks you can do.

I think you are smart to keep in mind that you are still a healing princess and you will not push yourself too hard, right?

Above all, please continue to listen to your body. Back off when you start feeling unwell, tired, or pain. Complete healing from this surgery takes a minimum of 6 months. The more you push beyond limits, the more likely that healing time can be prolonged.

About the constipation. Not good. Watch that carefully and ask the doc for suggestions. S/he may either prescribe something for you or suggest over-the-counter remedy.

Feel better, hon' -- please try to take it easy on yourself, regardless of what others think. They didn't go through this, you did.

and Happy Holidays!
