HI SISTERS
I NEED SUPPORT DEALING WITH NEWLY DIAGNOSED SEVERE SLEEP APNEA. IT WAS FOUND AT THE CASTLE.
IT HAS SLOWED DOWN MY RECOVERY AND I AM STILL OUT OF WORK.

AT THIS POINT, I AM ADJUSTING TO MY NEW BI-PAP MACHINE, BUT STILL HAVE ENERGY PROBLEMS. I CAN NOW GET THROUGH SOME DAYS WITHOUT A NAP, BUT I HAVE HAD SEVERAL NEAR-ACCIDENTS WHILE DRIVING.

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING. MY PULMONOLOGIST SAYS I CAN WORK BUT NOT DRIVE. THIS MEANS I CAN'T GET TO WORK. CATCH-22!

TOMORROW I'M GOING TO SEE THE SLEEPAPNEA SPECIALIST WHO READ MY 2 SLEEP STUDIES. I HAVEN'T YET MET WITH HER, AS MY PULMONOLOGIST HAS HANDLED IT SO FAR.

I NEED SUPPORT!

Hi Rayzel

I am glad they found out you have sleep apnea . It is a very serious disorder. My sister used to fall asleep all of the time sitting in a chair. She never felt rested and looked so worn out.
She has been using the machine for a couple years now and said she can not sleep without it now. she finally gets the good sleep she needs. She hardly ever takes a nap now.
Maybe you need a adjustment on the air flow. Different people need different settings. I hope you get feeling better soon, I couldn't imagine not being able to drive. Hopefully that issue will clear up too. Continue to keep us posted on your situation. We are here for you and will continue to offer you support.
