6 weeks and the flu?!?!?

Well, I was finally feeling like I was rounding the corner...feeling energetic and motivated and then suddenly last evening and today, I have been feeling very nauseous, with headache and body aches. I am assuming that I have a little stomach flu, but just wanted to check to see if anyone thinks these symptoms are related to post op. I had a TAH/BSO on 11/18 for endometrial cancer, which they say is cured. I am not having any radiation or chemo...

So any thoughts?

6 weeks and the flu?!?!?

Mary Sue~
Sorry you are feeling under the weather. It could very well be the flu....although sometimes it takes our bodies way longer than 6 weeks to recover from this surgery. I was barely able to go to church and sit in a pew at 6 weeks....went back to work at 10...should have waited till 12.

Anyway, you might want to call your doc and see what he thinks. This could also be a hormonal issue....many women "crash" around 6 to 8 weeks. Meanwhile, get plenty of rest, drink lots of water and take vitamin C and Zinc to ward off any more "cold germs".

take care...hope you feel better.
