Delayed til 12/31

My surgery has been delayed due to my insurance company "still reviewing" the request.

My doc has been excellent. He will be doing a TAH (that also changed) on the 31st. He has been bending over backwards trying to get this done before the new year. If I wait until the new year, it will cost me double upfront, deductible plus the 20% co-insurance, and I just can't afford that.

The cramps and burning have been so bad that I have stayed in bed all day. Doc did give me some pain meds to get me through until Friday.

Just wanted everyone to know what was up.

Hang in There!! Your time is almost here. Sorry for the delay (don't you just love insurance compainies??? NOT) Glad your doctor was able to get you in before the new year.

I'm sorry you are in so much pain and your surgery was delayed. Your doctor sounds like a very compassionate person to help you so much! You are very lucky there!

I hope everything works out well for you and that you are feeling better soon! Hang in there!
