How are DH's handling "no sex"???

Hi ya,
I'm I the only one the obsessively reads any post to do with sex!!!!

I met my GNM (gorgeous new man) only a couple of weeks before my surgery, which was an emergency and very unexpected. So needless to say it has been interesting going through the recovery, AND having the gnm around making me feel so desired!! We have certainly had a great deal of fun in the fact its been a great way to learn about each other and what we like ;-)....all that holding off.

I do confess to not being able to hold out any longer and indulged at exactly the 5 week mark and it was BRILLIANT....

He has been so wonderful and supportive, but the chemistry and the hormones racing meant that we just couldnt hack it any longer, and I feel great and there was no pain before during and after he was beautiful and gentle.....although I think the walls of my vagina are a little numb, the 'g spot' seemed to be working great though!! the 'o' didnt hurt at all...was different than in the past but certainly oh so good.....we called it a 'knee trembler'.

16 days post op from LAVH

This thread has given me the most giggles yet lol

I have to say that I'm one of the lucky ones here. I have listened to my body, and my hunny and I had intercourse at 8 days post op. Mind you, it wasn't our "usual" and I had my hands firmly planted on his thighs so that I controlled the movements *wink*, but I have to say that it was OK. No real pain or discomfort and <oops! please keep replies "PG-rated">

We are all different in our healing process, and although my first check up is to be in 3 weeks, I know my body...and I knew that it would be ok. I haven't experienced any pain or bleeding as a result of our play time, and we've actually done it twice now. YAY!! *SMILE*!!!!!

If I had my cervix removed too, I wouldn't have been so brave, but I'm happy to report that everything works well and my orgasms are still amazing!

I hope this gives some of you a little hope...and definitely something to look forward to.

Still healing, in Canada....and smiling too!!

How are DH's handling "no sex"???

(((Ladies))) please remember to follow your DR's orders regarding sex (or other activities) during your recovery. If you have intercourse before being released by your DR, please contact the DR and let him or her know, even if there doesn't seem to be a problem. There is a substantial risk of infection when things aren't completely healed in there.

Most DRs tell their post hyst patients 'nothing in the vagina for six to eight weeks'. For more about why this is important, you can read more in the article:

"Do I really have to wait six weeks to have sex?"

If you're having trouble reminding your partner that you haven't been cleared yet and therefore shouldn't "indulge", you might try having him take a look at , which has photos of actual surgeries... guaranteed to cool the ardor of even the most motivated suitor

And, finally... do remember that the website guidelines ask that we keep our replies "PG-rated". Thanks for understanding!
