released but checked thyroid?

Hey princesses,
had 6 weeks yesterday and my obgyn said I am healing great and I can do whatever I want to within reason. If it hurts stop etc... I am going back to work today and am a little scared that I'll poop out after about 2 hours.

She also wanted me to start on 1 mg of estrace. I'm not really having bad symptoms but she said I was really dry (in the netherlands) and said I was too young to experience vaginal atrophy. She said that it would give me a little energy. and that such a low dose should not make me gain weight . However, she tested my thyroid. I've always thought I've had thyroid inbalance although my numbers were ok; Dry skin, constipation, hair loss, cold hands and feet etc.... We'll see, results will be back next week.

I am still having an excrutiating earache. She (ob) said that I don't have a lot of fluid in there. I'm wondering if I'm having an arthritic flare up in my TMJ joint hence putting the pressure on my ear causing the pain. Has anyone ever heard of this?

I did sleep very good last night and feel really rested this morning.
Is this due to estrace?

Ladies y'all are a God send.
Thanks

released but checked thyroid?

Hi,

I am sorry you are having painful earache. I would get it checked out just to be sure no infection or something else.

Yes, estrogen can help sleep, moods, hot flashes, sweats, and some other problems women have being surgically menopausal.

I hope you feel better soon.
