just wanted to say welcome home.
maybe you are dehydrated and should drink lots of water that might help with the headache

I had headaches every day I was in the hospital until I had my first cup of coffee on day three. After that as long as I had my coffee and a motrin it was ok. No headaches since week 1. TAH on 12/14.

Home Ginger!

I am glad that you are home and I'm sorry you have a terrible headache. I don't really have an answer for you about your headache other than to call your doctor. Did you talk to anyone about it before you were discharged? I'm sure someone will be along that may be able to help you soon!

I wish you the very best with your recovery! Sending you lots of big s and I hope you are feeling better soon!

Thanks , Ibuprofen helps for a while. Could it be due to the interthecal I had. I vomitted for 24 hours after surgery.

Congrats on a successful surgery! Glad to hear you are doing okay!

I take Advil for my headaches, when I get them. I experienced a sense of fullness and heavyness in the head after my surgery.

It could be from the anesthetic and from the drugs you were given. When you think about it, you had MAJOR surgery and your body has gone through a lot.

Drink lots of water, keep up on the tylenol or ibuprofen. Don't end up playing catch up with it. At least for the first little while. I did that one day, felt like I could go without. Man, I paid for it that evening. PAIN!! ::

Take care, keep to the princess RULES and you will do great!

Glad to hear you are home!

Welcome HOME!! Ginger.

Just take it easy. Today is day 9 for me. I've been sore but nothing to much to handle.
