any young ladies had everything out and happy about it

hi, i had it all out but only about 10 weeks ago. i have no regrets so far. we're about to try out the sex thing for the first time this weekend and i'm pretty sure it's all working ok!!! i am taking bio-identical hormones. i use the vivelle dot patch along with Progest creme which you just use on your arms/legs/chest area 2x a day. i haven't had a single hot flash, no weight gain, and physically i feel really really great. good luck with your decision, and have a happy, health new year!

I had everything out in August. I dont regret it. The only thing that has been hard for me is getting my hormones straightened out. I knew this going into it though. I mean, its kinda hard to replace the natural hormones a 29 yr old has with something in a patch or a bottle. Sex is still just as good, although it was uncomfortable the first few times after my hyst. Lord knows, I sure dont miss having a period!!!! All in all I am happy with my decision.

Hi...I had it "all" out in June of 2003. I am doing GREAT! Went on Estrace 2 mg. right away and haven't had ONE single menopausal symptom at all! I love the Estrace! It works for me...so far! And it's bio-identical...which is a good thing...not synthetic. I don't feel any different at all except NO MORE PERIODS!!! YEAH!!!! Good Luck!

I'm 32 and had a TAH/BSO on June 4th. I'm on the Vivelle Dot .05. The menopausal symptoms are almost non-existent. I feel wonderful! My doctor did not give me the option of keeping "the twins". I have not a single regret!

Happy New Year!!

I had a TAH and everything out and couldn't be happier. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made! No HRT's because I don't really have any hot flashes except during the night. I'm trying to avoid them if I can and go the natural route with Red Clover, Black Cohosh and Evening Primrose.

any young ladies had everything out and happy about it

Hi! i am 29. On april 30, I had a TAH, RSO for ovarian cysts, fibroids and CINII. I was doing fine until September when I began having stabbing pains. An ultrasound revealed several ovarian cysts. After much thinking and praying, I decided to have the left ovary removed. On Nov 19 I had the surgery. i have no regrets. The only problems has been with the hormone replacement. I started off on Climara .06. I was fine for about 4 weeks. At my 4 week post op appointment I explained to my doctor that I was really emotional. I could cry over anything and felt sort of depressed. He checked my hormone level. It was low. Now I am on Climara .1. This seems to have made the difference. I feel more like my old self. It is nice not to be crying over everything. I have not had any other menopause symptoms. They also went through my old hyst incision and I have had no problems. The doctor was not able to do a lap because of the size of the cysts. Good luck with your decision.
