To shave or ...not to shave

Hi Ladies,
This may sound weird and I'm a little embarrassed mentioning it, but I haven't had to shave my legs since the day before my surgery (11/29).

I have a few strands that have popped up here and there, but.....NO HAIR. I do have to shave my underarms....and the hair in my pubic area is growing since surgery as well. Anybody else experience this??

Christine

To shave or ...not to shave

I'm blonde and have fine body hair anyway, so I tend to go for ages without shaving my legs.

You shaved your legs before surugry? Why? Trust me I doubt they would check lol

I guess just enjoy being shave free for a while especially as trying to shave just after surgury is terribly difficult.

hehehe the nurses kept sticking dressing tape to my pubes and not only was it generally uncomfortable, but it hurt like ***** to pull off the next day, so there was me in all my cuddly glory one evening stood with one foot perched on loo seat, one hand balancing me against the wall trying to shave my pubes with out bending!

I managed but it was a poor job, still it stopped them sticking tape to them lol

To shave or ...not to shave

You know at 55, you'd think one would get a break. I have 60% grey hair (colored) on my head but the dark hair on my legs is there everyday as if I was 16! And...no one ever told me pubic hair turns grey!!!! Good heavens how bad that looks! If it was blond, no big deal.

At 4 weeks post TAH, I can just now bend well enough with foot also on the shower seat, to shave decently. Thought I could talk my hubby into shaving my legs but he lost interest!

You're blessed...be greatful!
Happy Healthy New Year!

To shave or ...not to shave

Hey Christee!
I never had much to shave on my legs or my underarms anyway, but since my surgery (in August) I've only shaved my legs, and under my arms once. Only had few strands here and there also, so you are not alone. We should count our blessings and celebrate!!
Happy Healing and Happy New Year to ya!

To shave or ...not to shave

I wish I didn't have to shave my legs. I am 6 ft tall so you can imagine how long my legs are..LOL It takes forever!
One thing I have noticed, since I have had my pubic area shaved 3 times, it is not coming back in like before..weird.
