Hi colette,
I am in the same boat with the adhesion thing as you can see with my sig line. I am currently taking meds that the GYN gave me and I have an appt with a pelvic pain specialist in Feb but hoping to get an earlier appt if someone cancels. If you don't mind me asking, what medication are you taking. I am taking MS Contin 45mg twice a day (extended release morphine) and percs for breakthrough pain about 3-4 a day,but that barely works and I am hoping she changes the MS Contin because I have too manylow times and I still have increased pain with activity and that could only be a trip to the store and have nothing to take for that.
Welcome back and I hope you stick around!

Hi Marian

Hi there,
No problem, I am on Oxycodone15 mgs 4 times a day, but was told i could take it every 4 hours if needed!
Soma (muscle relaxer) 325 mg which helps me!
Bentyl 20 mgs for abdominal cramping!
Phenagran 12.5 mg for nausea when needed!
Just remember what might work for one might not work for the other with Pain management it is all trial and error

I do know the feeling with the adhesion stuff and it is no fun!
I also have fibromyalgia and degenerative disk disease, so i have trouble doing anything these days a trip to the store sends me to so it really stinks being stuck in the house with nothing to do LOL!!
I will pray that you get a sooner appointment! I will be sticking around! This is the best board and the most friendly people here!

Hi Colette Of course I remember you: for a while, we were just about the only ones registered on the December 2000 Calendar

I'm so sorry you've been having continuing problems I always hope that "No News, is Good News" but have learned that, where Road Dwellers are concerned, it is rarely the case

Of course you are welcomed to replying to posts: you've always been sooooo supportive!!!

And, yes, I'm still here, with some issues and still fighting!!!!

Oh yeah I understand that....I am on more meds than you right now, I just hope they find something soon to help me out. I have too many up and downs with the ms contin.
I am glad to hear you will be sticking around

Hi Ladies

Hi Dany wow its been awhile! I do remember that lol So how are you hun? Ahh dumb question lol! I hope your hanging in there! I am here to stay and support others because we all could use it!
Fighting like the rest of us many big hugs to ya!

You poor thing! Are you in Pain Management yet? Or waiting for an appointment/opening right?
They will find a balance trust me it has saved my life!
Ohh trust me they wanted to put me on more drugs and back on antidepressants and I refused...I was on Prozac and became more depressed so got off real Quik!
The one thing I forgot to mention is that I have a Tens unit! which is wonderful! That also helps with pain and keeps me off the other drugs for now i do realize that my body , someday might not want these drugs and will need something stronger!
ya know I have heard others say that about the MScotin!
Hopefully they will do something soon! Just hang in there and I will be around for a while!
I know the adhesion thing stinks gosh I hate it, I get so depressed some times!
That why I am back i need to chat too!
Hugs girls!
Love Colette

(((Colette)))) I'm actually not that bad: just some issues with stress incontinence (very, very annoying!!!), the omnipresent IBS (but I've always had that... it's just a little worse than before) and still dealing with arthritic pain. Most of the time, the arthritic pain is under control. However, at times like this week-end (very cold and very humid) it's back with a vengence: just when I actually couldn't remember just how bad a flare up can be

I'm happy to hear that the tens unit is proving to be very helpful!!!!
