Weight gain/loss?

I'm down a few pounds but nothing fits and I'm 6 weeks post op. My pooch is evident in anything but sweats. I'm beginning to feel fat and old and tired. I am planning to get back into my exercise/active lifestyle but I still have no doggone energy. I coach basketball and I have a practice scheduled for Monday night and the doc said I could play. I'm looking forward to that but have a feeling I may have to peel myself out of the bed on Tuesday.
Happy new year

Weight gain/loss?

I gained while in the hospital, but lost it quickly once I got home. I lost a total of 13 lbs in the first three weeks because nothing tasted good, and was still on a soft diet.

My mother's care package of cookies and fudge arrived at the same time I got my appetite back. YIKES! In the past three weeks I've gained 8 lbs. Today the remainders of the package go in the trash and I'm back to eating nothing but healthy foods.

It will also help that I can now go the the grocery store with DH and monitor what goes in the cart. He is dangerous in the grocery store. I don't think he even knows there is an area where they sell fruit and vegetalbes! He has however found the ice cream, cheese, and chips. LOL!!

Weight gain/loss?

Happy New Year everyone!

I couldn't keep any food down while I was in the hospital, so I came home a few pounds lighter. I had hired a personal trainer 7 weeks prior to my surgery, so I had already lost weight and inches before the surgery. My doc wanted me to gain 5 pounds before my surgery, but I just couldn't (probably due to my personal life/relationship woes).

Prior to learning I needed a TAH, I needed to lose about 15 pounds, but I have lost about 25 total so far. I don't think I've been this slender since I was 30. I've lost about 8 pounds since my surgery.

The whole idea of HRT was/is scary to me, in part because I keep hearing all those weight-gain stories. I was given a shot while in the OR that last 4 weeks, then a week ago I started on my Premarin. I continue to lose weight. I have very little appetite. But I look so funny with that huge belly/shelf!

weight

I have this uncontrollable urge for sweets. Never did before. I am a popcorn person...you know lots of salt! I am so upset because all I seem to do is eat lately and nothing really satisfys. Can't wait to get into a regular routine with work again because it is so much easier to monitor what I eat. When does the Dr. normally release you to exercise? (other than walk) I don't want to rush anything but I really need to get working. I am large, lost a lot of weight before but it is a nightmare watching it coming back on.
