1st Grocery shopping trip

Whats really funny is I rode the cart to the car so I didnt have to walk and then I felt bad for just leaving the cart there so I had my DD drive it over by the store.
She was so funny. She was a little scared and had the funniest look on her face. shes 12.
I asked her if she liked the drive and she said no.

I hate to grocery shop, but going with DH p/op made it kindof fun. (Something we hadn't done together since we were newlyweds.) Even when I was feeling fine, the grocery was too much to do alone, really. Make sure you have help. Even just a couple 12 packs of soda make the cart really too heavy. Send someone else or have someone go with you.

(One of my pre-op purchases was a $50 gift card to the super Wal-Mart. I asked my friend to hang onto it. She'd call me before she'd run her errands to see if I needed anything. If I did, all she needed to do was swipe my card - made it easy on both of us!)

1st Grocery shopping trip

I had my surgery Dec 3 2004. I still have not ventured out alone. My belly is still swollen and moveing is not easy. And being bumped in a store ... Am I slow? getting out. I tried to do somethings to get ready for Christmas and really paid that night. Now I am being careful. Especially since My Dr. worned me about tearring internal stiches.
Kindred, I hope you take it a little slower and make sure you really heal. I will work on catching up to you!
My best to you for a good recovery.
