so tired

Even though I celebrated the New Year(nonalcoholic drinks), I went to bed only about 1 hour later than normal. I had such a hard time waking up this morning.
Today I feel so tired and drained. I cant figure out why. I really didnt do anything different yesterday except get groceries in the afternoon.
After that though, I made sure to lay down the rest of the day.
Im exhausted.
Im hopiing to go to church tomarrow for the first time.(just church), I love sunday school for adults but I know Im not ready to stay at church that long.

Bless your heart!
At 9 weeks post op, grocery shopping still wears me out and will make me so tired the next day... I dont know if it is pushing the cart or loading the groceries into the car. I have come to the conclusion that "tired" is my bodies way of saying "you over did it"
Get some rest today - hope you feel better tomorrow!

HI Cuddlyrock
This is MRSTHORN (again)
Our surgeries were on the same day. It is so weird how tired we can get. This week mornings have been the worst.

Hope you get to feeling better. I guess we all have our days, we just have to do things at a slower pace. How is your pain now? HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I didnt push the cart. I just drove those go carts. My girls did all the work. I even got lucky to see this one woman pulling out of the very first parking space at meijers, so I didnt walk much yesterday.
I think Im going to have to go lay back down because im too tired to even be on the comp right now.

I too feel like I have been run over by a truck, I had TAH 12/6/04 and feel less energetic now then I did at week 2. I keep hoping each day I will have a burst of energy but I keep on dragging around, nice to know I musy be normal.

Today, Im doing good as far as pain is concerned. I do keep getting these twinges of sharp pain up inside me sometimes but it only lasts for a second. Other than that just tired alot.

Its funny how one day you can go one place and just sit there and talk for maybe an hr and then be in so much pain but the next get out and do stuff and not hardly be in any pain at all.

My surgery was the same day as yours. Fatigue is also my biggest problem. I have a laptop and I seem to be stuck on the couch in the family room. I had trouble sleeping the past two nights because my kids were out with friends and I waited up for them. I spent yesterday afternoon dozing on the couch. I'm trying to get up the energy to write thank you cards for Christmas gifts, and straighten up. DH is working today (12 hour shift) so he can't help much until he gets a day off.

so tired

I have been feeling so lethargic today, not pain just exhausted. I didn't overdo it yesterday but today I only want to lay on the couch and nap. Tv isn't even interesting me today. I'd love to write some thank you notes but they just sit here in the box next to me. Last night I told DH that today I'd like to try going for a walk outside but now that it is today that idea doesn't sound so good. Well hopefully tomorrow will bring more energy!
