7 wks...granulation...ouch!

Hello all! I went to the DR today and he did the internal exam. I have an area that isn't healed. And you have to love the GYN, before he pokes around in there he says...that looks like it might hurt! That's a direct quote. My response...Yep, it sure does!

Anyway other than that, all is well. I do have the pink discharge back and am feeling some twinges since then. Hopefully it will go away soon. I'm sure it's where he did the exam. Meany! I have to go back in 2 more weeks. He thinks it will be healed by then.

I guess I'm just one of the slower healers. Take care!

I know how you are feeling. I had just what you are having. maybe yours stopped now? I am one year from my surgery and still bleeding. I had the granulation tissue and bleeding, spotting and it all. I have gone to the DR every month for "in office" treatments where she applies something to stop bleeding. This has never worked for me. I have had it. We are looking into have a part of the vagina(top ) tied off again. Where the tiny spot is. If this doesnt work I have to go, be put out AGAIN, and have the top redone where she removes inflamed area. Don't want to scare you, but this bleeding isnt that common. Doesnt mean anything is really wrong. Some people dont heal that fast. Guess that is us. Let me know how you are doing now.

What is "granulation"?

From what my DR said granulation tissue is in the area at the top of the vagina where they cut cervix out when doing hyster. and then a scab thing forms with this granulations tissue on it. Which can blisher and bleed because it is full off blood and capillaries , that can easily be broken. I had this right after my surgery and it has gotten better to the point where there is just a tiny dot left. BUT from time to time, when having interecource this will bleed. The last time it did I had bright red blood and needed a pad. (and believe me the height of our sexual activity isnt to wild to bring this on..my husband is very easy on me ...if you know what I mean...)
So today I am going again to DR to see how I a progressing. Doubt it will be any difference. The one thing good is that I have not had any spotting or bleeding for a month, which is good. Always keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that ...maybe....she got it all ...and I am finally healed. I think I have put up with enough of this being it has been 1 yr!!
Can anyone relate to any of this? IS there hope?

Thankfully that pink discharge was gone when I got up this morning. I am really hoping it heals up in the next couple of weeks before I go back. I had no idea it could go on for that long. What a pain for you. I'm so sorry! I hope that whatever you decide to try next will take care of the problem. I will say a prayer for you.

To everyone out there that has had bleeding, mine did last one year, almost to the date. I did have my DR appointment today and I got good news, everything is healed.
I was trully amazed , as today DR was going to try something new. It was going to be where she was going to tie a loop like stitch around the inflamed area, ( dot of granulation tissue) that would not stop bleeding. It would have then dropped off. (sort of like what they do for hemriods)BUT we never had to do it.
Finally my many prayers got answered.
There is hope to any of you that are still bleeding and wondering, WHY? It took me 10 times to try stop mine along with extra hormone creams, hormone tablets and regular caturizing of the area.
Don't give up...even though it is hard and you wonder why?

God Bless!
