Gurgles

Okay so I have a question. My tummy keeps gurgling. In the same spot. Not where you can hear it.... it kind of feels like when you're 4-1/2 months pregnant and the baby flutters around in your tummy. It doesn't hurt... but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this...

I had a strange "vibrating" sensation for the 1st 3 wks or so post-op. Thought it was gas, etc at first, but it just stayed 24/7

Dr felt that it was part of the healing - nerve endings, muscle quivverring, etc. It gradually stopped on it's own.

THANKS RubySue... I feel better knowing you had the same issue. I was talking to DD and said... "it doesn't hurt... but remember how it felt when the baby first started to flutter around in utero...".... I'm convinced she thinks i'm nuts.

I thought it might be gas... but it really doesn't feel like gas.. and it's not exiting the way gas would

I was up a lot longer today than any other day since post op... so... perhaps I am fatigued? stressed something? But it doesn't hurt at all... so i'm thinking it must not be a bad thing. Everything still works.

It would be a good idea to just call in the morning & run it by dr just to be sure, but it sounds vy similar to what I felt.
I too thought it compared in a way to those preg. butterfly flutter feelings - tho after those 1st couple days it just was 'buzzing' quietly all day all night. Couldn't feel it w/my hand - neither could DH - more noticeable the more active I was.

Hope all goes along well w/your recovery ~ take care!
