It's okay to have an easy recovery!

Sure it can be scary to read some of the threads.... but...... you don't always know how your body is doing and you might feel great (I pretty much did) and still be walking on a fine edge healthwise.
Reading the posts here taught me to slow down, because I was in full swing, doing laundry and cleaning the house and carrying groceries as soon as I returned from hospital.
It was the wise words here and different experiences (and finally post-op bleeding and burning inside.... as a good warning) that made me stop and slow down.

So of course I love to read wonderful success stories of quick recoveries, but it's the other stories that helped me personally figure out how much was too much and what to expect or at least how to avoid health complications.

kind regards to all
smiles & dreams

TAH & salpingectomy & adhesions

as for work..... like rvp.......yikes...... I love to read that some ladies can wait 6 weeks before returning, I wish I could :sigh: but we can't always choose, sometimes you just do what you've got to do and hope it will all go well.

It's okay to have an easy recovery!

Yes, listening to your body is very important. Even though I feel good, I know that I have a lot of healing to do, and that the house will still be here in six weeks (or whenever), when I can actually do a good cleaning, like I used to do.

I really feel very fortunate to have found this site. It has given me great insight to what I could go through. What I could expect. What other women have done, or felt.

I am very happy to have gotten the chance to read about others recoveries. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Just gave me a little more peace of mind when it came time to have it done.

Now I am just rambling on, whoops!
