4 weekers

Hi
I am coming into my 4th week on Wednesday and wondering how all you 4 weekers are doing. I still have swelly belly, especially at night and have trouble sleeping without tylenol PM- but other than that I have had very little pain- other than a few twitches here and there. I can't wait to be able to get back to work and do some real exercise again. How is everone else holding up?

My 4th wk was last Friday the 14th, and I too am having a hard time sleeping without some Tylenol Pm !! My bladder is having a hard time healing? Urine seems to be leaking?? Have been really pushing the water. Other than that my recovery is going well, have been walking at least a mile everyday. And oh this swelly belly has got to go!!

Hi Girls...had my final post op with my doctor today. 4 and a half weeks and she said inside is totally healed. YEAH! I went back to work half time at 2 and 1/2 weeks-desk job-and am back to socializing and just making sure I am getting enough rest.

I was all ready to give my hubby the green light...but then I read on here all the bleeding and cramping women are having after resuming intercourse...she says it is ok..all healed...but then this..what do I do?

i am 4 weeks today and i'm not feeling great at all. still very sore with some numbness starting to fade, replaced with more pain around my scar. walking is still painful, but i am better than week 2. i get sharp pains in my belly above my scar which are intense but not constant. i'm pretty tired too, moreso than week 2. swelly belly is less but still there. i can't imagine walking a mile! sheesh, i'm lucky if i walk around the house a few times.

Tomorrow will be the 4-week mark for me. Other than a few pinches around my navel and some rare stabbing vaginal pain, I think I am doing reasonably OK. I have just come back from a 25 minute walk, around 2.5 - 3 mph.

I feel much more energetic than week 2, no doubt about that; however, there are days in which I feel exhausted after doing almost nothing.

On Saturday I tried to drive for the first time. Not even 10 minutes later I wanted to come back home. I then slept for four straight hours. Yesterday I drove again and I felt fine. In my case, each day is a surprise, although I am thankful most days I am feeling relatively fine.

Hi 4 week sister!
I will be at 4 weeks tomorrow. My DR said that he wishes all his patients were healing as well. (He probably says that to everyone).
I am still exhasted when I ride in the car. He told me to do LIGHT things (whatever that means), I was released to drive and NO SEX. My scar is doing great (I clean it with perioxide then rub cocoa butter on it (about 3 times a day). I became paranoid (SP) after reading about all the infections.
I have been very compliant. I haveNOT lifted, bent down, stretched up, pulled, or pushed ANYTHING. My mom and finance have taking great care of me and wouldn't let me if I wanted to. I have only been out of the house probable 6 times and I walked to the mailbox 3 of those times.
1 mile - I can't imagine.
I have added fish & chicken to my diet and brocoli, potatos, rice, lettace, & corn for veggies & starch
I have lost 9 lbs and can't wait for the sweeling belly to go completely away. I see a naval piercing in my future (HA HA).
Emotionally I feel great! No regrets yet.
My finace said that I am obsessed with this website. He told me to stay off of the site because I think I have or am going to get everything that my sisters have (empathy/sympathy pains & illness). Everytime I go to the dr I have a list of questions about how I get this or that or if I have this or that. My SO told me to think positively.
Happy Healing!

blizzak....my hystersister twin... you sound like your boyfriend is a true keeper. I love to read how protective of you he is. I'm also in stitches over your comments about him saying to stay off of the website. I've been told i'm obsessed more than once.

My four weeks is tomorrow! I've been doing a lot more lately. Shopping...pushing the cart & lifting most things (my weight restriction is 15 pounds)... I've actually tried not to lift over 10. Except for the maybe two or three times the baby really really wanted nana to pick her up (27.4 pounds of love)... but I didn't lift her with my abs.

Was out today from 10:30 a.m. until about 7:15 p.m.... it went well. I'm actually a lot less tired than I was yesterday and the day before. I was actually at the mall saturday AND sunday. Tomorrow DD and I will run errands (grocery shopping...etc)

Still another month before I go back to work! Whatever will I find to keep myself busy?

4 weekers

Today starts my fourth week. I have been up and going the last week or so. I have been only doing light housework such as
cooking, dishes and dusting the furniture. Today I changed my bed but made my daughters tud the sheets off because I am not
allowed to tug, lift, push, strain and etc. I dont feel to bad and I dont take pain meds during the day just a half a pill at night.
Good luck to my 4 week sisters.

I'm four weeks Monday. My pain is like PMS without the urge to kill someone. My lower back hurts and where my uterus was. I normally don't take pain meds, but when I really hurt I will. Other than that I get tired after doing the smallest things. I feel okay, so I do stuff and then all of a sudden I'm wiped out and need a long nap.

VLBD, blizzak and Deb, all my same date sisters as well as everyone else at 4 weeks!!! Yeah, we made it this far, and all seem to be doing very well.

I see the Dr. tomorrow and am ready to lay out my return to work plan...I will go a half day each on Jan. 26 and 31 (these are both teacher work days). I am going to need another sub (mine is leaving for Australia on Jan 21st) for the next 2 weeks. I have to talk to my princiapl, but basically after the two half days, I will come back 1/2 days on Feb 7th and full days starting the 14th. Now this is only if all goes well. I'm only concerned about getting a different sub right now, wish me luck!

Physically, I'm doing well, but the weather has put a crimp in my walking plans. I had DH bring the gazelle in from the garage today and I did about 5 minutes on it (don't want to do TOO much). I'll try 10 tomorrow. My stomach only swells up after dinner for a couple of hours. It still fells a little numb to the touch, but everything else is healing well. I have had spotting since about day 9 and wish it would just STOP so I can take a bath!!!! Maybe tomorrow so I can shave my legs for the Dr. appt!

I've been on low dose othoest since I came home from the castle, and have had no hormonal episodes to speak of. I'm not sure if Dr. will keep me on them since I had Stage 4 endo. I'm concerned if he does take me off that I won't have time to adjust before going back to work. I'll just have to wait and see!

Glad to hear from all of you, I love this site!
