surgery scheduled

Hi,

I am scheduled for surgery on February 15th to remove adhesions and put in some barriers. The pain has just become unbearable - and my bowles are not working properly. I tried the weeks of pelvic massage to see if the adhesions would loosen up but ithe therapy was not successful. I was taking pain medication only at bedtime but the pain has become severe enough that I need to take it on days a Iwork too just to get through the day.

I am counting down the days...praying that this surgery helps.

I know when you are in pain, time passes so slowly. I hope that Feb 15th is here before you know it and that your surgery is successful in resolving your pain!

I'm curious who all will be doing your surgery. When I went for my 2nd opinion, she mentioned that the 3rd opinion who I am seeing next week worked with a colorectal surgeon in cases like mine where the bowel has been involved.

When I read about daily pain like yours I think, hey my cyclical pain is not so bad. Whats a few days compared to daily and maybe I am better off leaving well enough alone? Something to think about.

Aw, (((Lynn))) , I'm so sorry you're facing another surgery. I know you were hoping the pelvic massage would release the adhesions so you could feel better... I'm sorry to hear it hasn't worked for you.

Hang in there! I hope this surgery takes care of the problem and you can get back to your busy, active life.

((((Lynn))))) I'm so sorry the pain is getting worse From having been on pain meds before, I know how hard it is to work while on those

I do hope that this latest surgery will be your last one in a long, long time: you've been through sooooo much lately, you need a break in the right direction

Please know that I'm ing for this surgery, with the barrier, to work against your adhesions and for 2005 to be the year where things improve for you, in all areas.
