pain 3 months out

Hello! I am three months out from having a hysterectomy. I recently did some stomach crunches and ended up with bad cramping that night and then every since then-I have been feeling like I just had my surgery again. I was not told by my doctor not to work out. Has anyone had this problem??

pain 3 months out

Hi Steff,

I work out 3 times a week at the gym. I can honestly say stomach crunches took me the longest to work back into. Still am 9 months post op. I would just take it slow. I started out doing 1/4 of the crunches I normally did, then 1/2, then 3/4 and so on.

Also, you may want to check with your Dr. if the aching continues. Could be just from overdong it.

Best wishes,
