OK, I tried to vote tonight, but finally gave up after 15 min. Had folks over and we were trying to watch a video. How long is the voting kept open? And what happens when you get through. Do you have to talk to a live human being?

OMG!!!!!!!!!!

OMG! I couldn't believe the girl that SO annoyed me last week was one of my favorites this week. Mikalah did a FANTASTIC job.

I don't care what anyone says, I love Aloha. She has terrific potential.

I can't believe how disappointing Nadia and Carrie were tonight!

I'm voting for Mikalah. This week I think she is the only one who really deserves my vote.

DH and I were very disappointed in the ladies again last night. They all seemed to sing in the same low key. The guys still show more talent than the girls. Carrie has always been our fav and she wasn't really good last night. I like Mikahla---DH didn't, but he didn't know the song she was singing either and how difficult a song it was. But it seemed to me that they didn't listen to the judges last week when they told them over and over, it is about song selection and stage presence. Even though Carrie is our fav, we felt she didnt' deserve our vote just cause she is our fav...we decided to vote for the best each night and Mikahla was the best. They also all sounded drowned out last night. Even that one girl (can't think of her name---jeanee maybe?) looked absolutely petrified again even though she said before she sang that she was going to enjoy herself and just be herself----and she was horrible. I am very curious to see which girls get cut tonight.
For the one poster who asked how long do you have to vote? The lines are open for 2 hours after the show goes off. I got through VERY quickly last night---wondering how many people actually voted for women last night.

I tried for a half hour and gave up. I guess Mikalah won't have any problems tonight.

My dentists office has TV's in each room and they all had the View on. I've never seen that show anywhere other than there. They were talking about how the ladies from AI were protesting because (I think) the volume of the music. It drowned them out. I remember thinking, these girl need to sing louder. I thought the same thing the first time with the boys. Simon made a comment that it's like a night club in there and you can't really hear the performance. I'm glad he said that. Maybe they will do something about the music volume from now on.

I didn't care for the ladies' performances much at all. I think that they are more talented than they're showing. Maybe it's nerves. Can't really say as there is no way you would find me up there.

I am really shocked that Janay didn't get voted off. She was by far the weakest of the women last night. She was really awful!

BTW my dh asked why they don't sing songs that he knows.

OK, next week, I'm going for the gusto, and will try over and over until I get through then. That real young girl that had her belly haning out last night HAS GOT TO GO!!!!!! She is just terrible, and she is much too young anyway. I see enough teen pregancies in my job, and girls that young are a heartbreak. I am concerned that the adults in her life are not looking out for her interests, letting her dress like that, and thrusting her into the adult world. If she doesn't end up pregnant, I'm afraid she may pull a Drew Barrymore and become and addict of some kind.

I hated to see Aloha get kicked off.

Okay, I'm confused. I must have missed something. Who are you talking about and what's with her?

I liked that Ryan started off the show talking to the judges and asking them for clarification and advice for the contestants.

I really liked that they didn't mess around with the first girl and just told her straight out that she had the lowest votes and had to leave.

OH NO! Aloha is gone!!! I love her. I'm so disappointed. I don't think the other girl was very good at all. There were so many girls who were outright TERRIBLE. She should not have left so soon.

As for the boys, as long as Bo is safe I'm happy.

I am glad they didn't make them sing before they had to leave. I hate that. These poor kids are crushed. Not crying on stage is hard enough. Choking out a song after finding out it's all over is pure torture.

I, personally, am happy with the end result.

I think the fans that voted did a good job!

I also agree that it is good that they don't make the losers sing again. That is just cruel. For the singers and for us watching!

Bo is great!

Until next week...

This is my first season of watching AI. I'm hooked!

I haven’t liked any of Janay’s performances. She’s not a star and I think she looks funny.

I wondered also about the volume of the singing. It’s as if they have the volume turned down.

I really wish one of the women would do a Patsy Cline or Linda Ronstadt song. Why do they all pick such so-so songs to sing? It better get better!
