Update!!! And some support for those pre-op!

Hi all the Hyster Sisters that are Post-op and helped me through it and all those that are Pre-op and have not yet gotten to it!

I am doing ok. Thank you Dear God! Pathology reports: No Evidence of Malignancy! I had a Coconut sized, an Orange sized and a Lemon sized fibroiod with multiple others that were not distinctly decribed! And other stuff too, I will go into at later time! (when I can figure out how to post that under my name!)

Friday was one week, and I am happy with my progress. I have lot's of pulling inside, and pain at the incision site (mostly to the touch)! Nothing the perc's (percocet;'s I am allergic to codeine, ) don't take the edge off of. First week was much worse, the second is sooooo MuCh BeTeR!!! I can't even believe how much better I feel this week. But I am still taking it easy!

I have lot's of low back pain. I called my doctor today, because I am dying to soak in a hot tub. I thought he'd probably say "Not yet" that it would probably soften the incisions. Sure enough he said no, just showers. So I have to rest until...then I'll probably soak for an entire day (teehee) I am normally a belly sleeper and I think not moving from the same position is lot's of tension in my back.

Thank you so much for your support, hugs and prayers! I will write back as I am feeling better!

I Love You Hystersisters!
Love & Light, Tee

PS you were right (as of now!) I do not miss the "bad parts"

PS Again, the doc left an ovary!!!! The coconut sized fibroid was being fed by this huge artery, that if the doc was to save that ovary, he would had to have separated the artery from that ovary, so that ovary had to be forfeited...The doctor was able to save one ovary...so I do have some hormones (for now...but he did explain that sometimes when they save one, after the shock of hyster. the other one often withers)!

OH Yeah PS again, I wore my crown into the hospital...and to my followup when the doc removed my stitches! :-)! Even out for a drive (mom drive while I got fresh air!) Never mind "the looks" :-) I am wearing it still!

((((((((((Hugs2U-All))))))))))) you are all in my prayers! I was so afraid with only 10 days notice before my surgery...just stay right here for the best support! Good luck to those with pre-op dates and Thank you to those who helped me through!

Hi Tee,

It sounds like everything went well for you and your fruit basket of fibroids! Keep up your good work on your recovery and take it easy.

To update us on your surgery/results, go to the profile page and to the edit section. There is a line there for "signature" where you can put in the details. I think it's limited to 3 lines, but I'm not sure. When you get to that page, it'll help you along with easy to understand guidelines. You can also put your surgery date in too.

Let us know how you're doing!
