Just had post op today Déjà Vu ???

This post op was more through, I think because the onc ordered it instead of my regular gyn. Since this surgery is at the same hospital, I realy feel like I am having Déjà Vu. I pray this outcome is different.
I am trying hard again to psyc myself up it really is hard this time. But I know I am in good hands and one good thing they promised me was to fix the ugly scar on my tummy, so at least there is that.
How do you all psyc up for a surgery?

Carrie
What kind of surgery are you having?
It is very hard to get psyched up. I just had my third onw in the last 8 months. I guess just wanting the relief so bad from all of the bowel problems was enough to make me ready for the surgery. I was tired from all of the straining and all of those test. I had had enough and was ready to move on.
I hope this surgery puts a end to things for you. We have all been through enough.
I still wonder if I should have waited on this surgery and gotten that urethea suspension the urogyn suggested. I may see a urologist and try to get it done as a out patient while I am still off of work with this.
I think we may always feel like something else will go wrong.

I'll keep you in my prayers

I have also waited for this one. The pain started back in September and I was hospitalised then.
And trust me I want it. It is just I hate recovery! I hate it!!!! I want to have a good summer, so I am looking forward to that. I just feel awful because I homeschool my son and that part will be a nightmare.
Thank you for the prayers.
