Anyone else need progestin?

Hey, wonder if progestin was the missing link for anyone out there? I just started last week on Activella which has 1 mg estrogen and .5 mg progestin, and I could tell a difference with my first pill. Now mid week, I feel even better. STill a long way to go, but hey, I'll take it!!

Would love to hear your stories,

Anyone else need progestin?

Dear Susie:

I just checked out their website and it states that you should not take Activella if you have your uterus. Are you sure this is o.k. for you to take? I'm interested in seeing how you feel over the next few weeks.

Take care.

Anyone else need progestin?

(((Susie))), lots of women use progesterone or progestin even after having a hysterectomy especially if endo was a part of the diagnosis. I see you have mentioned endo in your signature line. I didn't have endo but I do use progesterone twice a day. It's an important part of my hormone balance but not all women feel good when they use it.

There are several articles you can read about progesterone from our Hormone Article List.

I hope you do well on this medication!
