First Dr.'s appt. and found a yeast infection? Yuck!!

I went to my first Doctor's appointment since surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago and was diagnosed with a yeast infection on my incision. Yuck!! Didn't know that could happen!! Oh well, I was wondering what that icky odour was and why the oozing. I'm hoping the cream I bought will do it's fancy footwork...and heal the blasted thing. Doc suggested monistat cream at night and baby powder after showers. Anyone else have this?? My Dr. shared the pathology report with me, gave me a copy without me asking and confirmed the adenimyosis and huge fibroids. Glad I had the surgery and relieved pain and bleeding is caput!! Hope all of you are recuperating nicely...blessings to all.

Dear Sherry,

I'm sorry you are having to deal with the yeast infection, but so glad your dr found it so you can get it treated and gone. Hopefully it won't be a problem for long. Did he say anything about your diet? I know I have dealt with yeast infections and it really helped if I would cut back on sugar and anything with yeast in it.
I hope everything continues to go well for you.

Blessings, Rita
