Sharp, Shooting Pains in Pelvic Area

Has anyone else had sharp, sudden pains around the pubic bone? At first I thought it was the incision from the laproscope (which went right through my c-section scar), but the pain is actually to the left side and further down. It's happened a few times since yesterday, is very sudden, very painful, and somewhat alarming. " Paranoia" seems to be my middle name lately. I hope someone else has experienced this and can tell me what it might be.

If you are worried, you should definitely call your doctor. I have found that most (if not all) of my sharp pains have been from gas, and are helped by changing positions, heating or cooling pad on the area, or walking around. But if you have a fever, or the area is swollen, it may be an infection. Please do take care of yourself!

Yes I have that pain. There was another post in here Something about pain taking you to your knees (almost).

Well there is no almost here for me. Not sure what or why, I told my Dr and he just shurgged at me. So I'm guessing it's not a big deal. Hope I'm right!

I see my GYN tommrow, so I will ask him and let you know.

Deep breathing helps, I used to stop breathing or short quick breaths, that made it last longer. Just think deep long breaths and they will come.

Kenzo, I had my TAH on Nov 30, and I too have had the sharp pains in that area. They don't last very long normally, thank goodness, but I have chaulked it up to just the normal healing process. I'm sure the nerves and things are just trying to get back to normal and heal. Good Luck!
