Update On Stomach Dr

Hi everyone:

I decided not to have the CT Scan, Barium Enema and Colonoscopy. I told the doctor I don't want to go through all that for nothing. I told him I know this pain is adhesions, not anything else. My Colonoscopy in October, 2004 showed nothing, except for adhesions around my right side of my bowel.

The good news is the pain went away last weekend. I've been pain free for almost a week. If it comes back, I will try to find an adhesion doctor, not a stomach doctor. There is nothing wrong with my stomach, no other symptoms.

Have a Great Weekend Everyone!!!

Update On Stomach Dr

I've had terrible adhesion problems with my colon. Once I had bowel obstruction for 10 days. I then had it again 14 months later.

Due to c-sections and (2) hyst - I obviously have scar tissue problems. I never had pain until the bowel was totally obstructed.

Good Luck! I know it's no fun but I am glad your pain is gone. If you're like me though - sometimes you're afraid of when it will strike back again.

Keep your head up! It will get better.
