Help family is not helping out

Penny,

I have no other suggestions for you. You have recieved a lot. I just wanted you to know that there are people out here that feel your pain and disapointment. I am sending you the biggest hug. I know that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and you will see that one day.

I wish you well

Help family is not helping out

Penny,
I just read your post or I would have replied before now.I am sooo sorry to hear what you are going through Now I realy wish we lived closer as I would just bring you here & we could recover together.
I cant imagine what you must be going through...not to mention you just had surgery.Apparntely his love & compassion are lost in a bottle....at this point he is uncapable of giving you any support becasue of his drinking.
I know you have had alot od suggestions on what to do & only you can decide what is best...but please do not jepordize your health.Your kids obviously need you without him you are all they have.
Is there anyone you could call? In-laws co-workers friend...is there anyone to come help mayb just once a week?
I would delagate a to do list for the kids...even the younger ones can be put to picking up carry things form one room to the next...in fact my youngest loves to help especially knowing mommy isnt feeling good. When they need & want $ for this that & the other...in our home they have to earn it.
We do alot for uour children that goes unnoticed till they have to earn it then they dont waste the $...it was well deserved.
Have you considered counsling ? DO you think that it would help?
I hope that something someone has said will be of some comfort to you...that you will find another way of getting the chores done other than by you.
Your only chore should be recovering ...only you know your limits but the bending isnt recomended.I know when i'm feeling good I overdo it sometimes...it onyl puts me in the bed for longer periods of time.Rest as often as you can im between doing the little things only.
Sit down with your children explain to them the emtions all of it...mayb they will be the help you so much deserve.
I hope something changes. You will be in my prayers.

I wish there was something more that I could say or do just know you r never alone!!!
