Hi everyone!
This is my first post since coming to the other side. I had LSH, RSO and bowel repair on 1/28/2005. I haven't had anything out of the ordinary as far as pain except for a constant pain in my lower left side. If I am not better by this evening I am calling the DR tomorrow.

I am a little nervous though. The DR. said that I could go back to work and drive after 7 days. It is now 10 days out and I don't even think I can go back until next week. I feel like a wimp and am hesitent to call him. I would love to hear from other sisters recovering from LSH to see if my symptoms are common. In addition to the pain in my side, I get exhausted just walking around the house

Hi there,

Wow! I am suprised that you doctor told you to go back to work after 7 days. I had a TVH on 1/24 and I had toeg my doctor to let me go bck to work in a month.

I also have the same sharp pain in my right side, it is easig up a bit, I thought perhaps that it was from stiches but it also feel like a torm mustle...

Anway, congrats on making it through. I hope that you feel better soon. I would be honest with your doctor and tell him that you are not ready to go back to work yet.
