Ok I just fell.....

I know this sounds crazy but I had to go to the craft store for feathers for my daughters costume for her school play. Play was sprung on us parents while I was in the Castle. Anyway, I made it to the store went in got the feathers and was walking to the car...(got the ok to drive this week) and I tripped just in front of my car.... the car broke my fall... I am soooo sore... stiff more than anything... I think I just jerked my body. I hope I didn't do anything. I took motrin and layed down for awhile... Dr. is not in now. DH is gonna kill me. I have been doing so well up to now!!!

I had a SAH/LSO on 1/14 and hope I didn't do damage.

Sounds like you are doing everything you should in this position. Just try to get a hold of your Dr asap or if you start to feel any worse. Take care of yourself and stop tripping over curbs silly!

Ok I just fell.....

This is one of my biggest fears as my tummy is always tender and painful. You are doing the right thing by taking it easy now, but you might want to call the doc in the morning and make him/her aware, they might want to see you in the office just to be on the safe side. If you notice any change such as vaginal bleeding, please don't hesitate to go to the ER.
I wish you the best!

Hey sorry about your set back must tell you though at my check up the Dr. told me the only thing that would hurt me now is a car wreck or falling down the stairs ,now you didn't fall down stairs so I hope it is fine but please call your Dr. just to be safe

Ok I just fell.....

I'm so sorry you fell. You must have been very frightened. I know I would be.

Please take it very easy and DO NOT HESITATE to go to the ER if anything seems unusual. Don't wait if your head tells you something is not right. Better safe than sorry.

Ok I just fell.....

I had a bad fall down our spiral staircase at 2 1/2 weeks. I had bruises up and down my arm and leg and a gash in my hand. I called the dr. He told me to watch for more than usual pain in my abdomen cavity, fever, and nauseousness. I was pretty sore for a few days. But the surgery area seemed alright. Hope this helps!

My poor DH had turn out the lights as we were going up to bed and I missed the next step. He felt so bad and really babied me for a few days. You might be surprised what DH does!
