We're having surgery on the same day!! I actually did the opposite of you... I freaked out until last night... tonight, I've been calm. I'm still worried, but i'd stressed myself into a cold-sore break out this last 2 weeks and decided that it's just not worth it.

The only thing I can say is, whatever the God of your understanding is, They're watching over you and will be in control through your surgery, recovery and have a hand in your life after too. I know that it's hard... it took me a while to get over it. I've heard a ton of advice, like keeping yourself busy, pampering yourself pre-op, etc. The only things that have worked for me are to talk it out... mostly on here and to finally trust that whatever will happen, will happen.

I'm sending you calming energy and my thoughts are with you.

Stay Strong and Heal Well!

The best advice I can give you is that when you look back you will realize how the whole experience was not nearly as bad as you thought it would be. Also, if you know you're already having surgery, and there's no turning back -- just let go and relax. You will find the experience to be so much better just by relaxing. At this point there is nothing you can do to change the situation, so just accept it, take deep breaths, and clear your head of any negative thoughts. Use the time before surgery to imagine the best possible outcome, and remember all of your sisters are sending prayers to you. Best of Luck to you.
