Thank you for your help!!

Well, thanks to you I went to the DR. and guess what - I thought I had a urinary tract infection and the dr saw blood in my urine - well the culture came back negative and he sent me for an ultrasound ( ironically today is my five month anniversary - had a TAH and the tech confidentially told me I had a cyst on my right ovary. Figures, the only thing left inside were my ovaries. I haven't heard from the dr. yet. He said, the pressure I was feeling could be that a cyst on my ovary is leaning on the bladder. I thought when I had this surgury all would come to an end and no more problems. You should have seen the face on the technican when she saw it was me. We became friends from having so many sonograms. I am only 5 months since my surgury - how could a cyst develop that fast? Has anyone out there experienced anything like this or I am just one of those statistics? Any advise would surely be appreciated. Donna

Thank you for your help!!

Oh Donna, sorry about the news. A UTI would have been better!
Now what? The functional ovary has a cyst every month, I thought. Sometimes it becomes large and angry causing alot of pain. Does your doctor say your cyst will resolve itself with time or are you looking at having it removed? Would you have the ovary removed as well? What's next? Oh, that's right, he hasn't gotten back to you yet. Let us know what he says.

I'm sure this has happened to someone else. I'll bump this back up and we'll see.
