How long for bloody discharge?

I think you can have discharge until the vaginal cuff is completely healed. And of course, there is going to be discharge when the stitches fall out.

The iodine-based paste stopped my bleeding for two weeks, but then it came back, as the cuff has not healed. I am at week 8, it still has not healed, and I have discharge (not bloody anymore) 24/7. I look forward to the day it finally stops!

You can add me to list of bleeders, too! I thought by having all this stuff removed the bleeding would be over. No such luck.

I was fortunate to keep my cervix while having everything else removed due to severe endo which caused a hemmoragic cyst on my right ovary, fibroids, etc. Had my 2 1/2 week check up on last Wed. Dr did use silver nitrate--OUCH!! However, the bleeding just got worse. Smelly, too. (My three cats keep trying to figure out what's causing the smell. They give me that flared nostril face that means something smells really bad!)

Like everyone else, I'll just have to wait this out. (and here I told my girls-ages 20 & 25 they could have my uneeded supply of pads and tampons!)

That stock option is sounding pretty good right now. Has anyone checked the stock market lately?

At least we're all going thru this together. Alone, without this support, I would be freaking out by now.

Hang in there, ladies!
