cramping all the time

Hi...

I'm 5 months post-op from an LSH, and I cramp more days than not. I know that this has something to do with prosteglandins (sp?)...but I don't understand why there is no pattern to it. It's during ovulation *and* before, during and after when I would be cycling, *and* lots of days in between. Gosh, it's just like before the hyst....!

Has anyone else had this experience? Motrin doesn't work for me anymore. Yesterday, to my husband's horror, I took 1000 mg of Ibu plus a vicodin (the vic is for back pain). You would think that 5 months after an LSH everything would be pretty settled down inside!

Thanks!

Margot

cramping

I don't have any experience with this, but here is a link to a thread where others talked about it too. You might find more also by doing a search about cramping after hysterectomy.

I hope you find out what is going on. Other possibilities that pop into my head are yeast/and/or bacterial infections, bowel problems, prolapses. But you are also still healing from the surgery-it might take up to a year to feel back to normal.
