S-E-X question...

I'm cleared for "it" and I've read so many posts that say "to have lots of lubricant". I've never had a problem in that area befor my surgery...sorry... so I'm wondering if I really will need it?! Does everyone need it???

S-E-X question...

I did not need any additional lubricant - you may want to keep some on hand the first few times "just in case".

lubricant

I needed a TON of it-still do at 7 months post op.

It wouldn't hurt to have it on hand -you don't have to use it unless you need it. Just be sure it is not vaseline/petroleum based. I think the water soluable is recommended for the vagina.

Good luck!

lubricant

we didnt need it but had it on hand just in case but also you might take longer on the foreplay part to ensure you are more relaxed and lubircated. each person is different.
good luck and have fun

S-E-X question...

Congrats on the O.k to go! We are still waiting. . . lube on the beside stand getting very lonely there. . . .

I keep hearing it is different without a cervix, is this true? I only have the left ovary. . . and the doc showed me pictures of what the vagina now looks like inside, but my cuff is not healing well, so we will wait. . . till I get the go ahead and feel comfortable. . . but some say they are "shorter" in there (is this too delicate to say and ask about?).

Thanks for sharing the suggestions about lube, and that sometimes not needed, to pay attentin to foreplay.

I am going to read all the threads on this topic before we "go ahead" when I get the o.k. from the Doc. I am scared to death that it will hurt.

Sorry Snospud, did not mean to add too much to your thread!

S-E-X question...

SnoSpud,

I was cleared this past Thursday. I was very surprised, since Dr told me I would have to wait for 12 weeks. He told me that I was very well healed.

I am a little frustrated with the lub issue. There is such an excess that poor Dh is not having a very good time. I have always seemed to have a lot but this is terrible!

Sex is great for me. I have no pain whatsoever. It has a better feeling for me. After 3 babies ranging from 8 lb 2 oz to 8 lb 14 oz, a toll was taken on my body. Dr. pulled everything up and firmed my vagina. But with the lub problem, DH can't enjoy.

I will be calling the Dr., there has to be some type of solution!

Oh, and to make matters worse, he prescribed Acid Jelly for me. It's just like KY, but balances the PH.

Gee, I kinda wish I had the opposite problem!

Take care,

Luv, Luvmabug
