Swelly Belly

Don't get discouraged! I am at 8 weeks and my stomach is just now going down. I felt and looked like I was 6 months pregnant. LOL Luckily I had found denim Riders Stretch jeans. They are very comfortable and will fit to your stomach. I didn't know that they blow air into your stomach at the surgery. Boy was I surprised! It will go down and you will look great again! This was the best thing I ever did. It will be for you too!

swelly belly

Hi everyone.
I had my TAH and everything else taken out on 1/28.
I felt pregnant too after the surgery.
When they weighed me in the hospital I was 8 pounds heavier than went I went in.
I was so disgusted and felt so bloated.

When I came home I did not weigh. I've been kinda eating what I want but in smaller portions. I just feel so full afterwards.

I have always taken a water pill because of blood pressure so I suppose that helped when I got home.

Well today, I got on the scales and I had lost the 8 pounds I gained in the hospital and 4 more. I felt so relieved. I have to fight with my weight all the time anyway. But, I thought, my gosh I didn't eat anything for about 4 days, just ice chips and then when I ate solids I could only eat a little.

My belly seems to finally be going down some, but there still seems to be a little ball there right under my belly button. It is worse at night.

Hang in there. I am finally not feeling bloated and my rings, fit fine. I am still wearing my stretch knit pants I bought at Wal-Mart, but heck they look ok.. I wore a black pair today to church with a dressy black top and I looked fine.

Take care.... I'm trying to.
