Unitll the next dance!

The CT scan confirmed it, The doc called on Friday and the scan showed "nodules" in my abdomen that were not there in November. He said with my CA-125 going up and the presence in my abdomen he is 98% sure the cancer is back. He wants to wait another 3 weeks and check the 125 again to make sure the numbers are going up, but he said we would be doing Chemo again probably. He said this round would be a once a week treatment instead of every 3 weeks like the first time. And he said my hair would not be coming out this time.
Any-hoo, I am okay with this now, and VERY ready to get on with this and knock this cancer cells out of my body, once and for all!!

s Sugar

I am so sorry to hear about the scans. DARN!
That dance with NED was too short.
You are sounding quite strong!! Good for you!!
Georgia has two very active ovarian cancer groups in the OCNA and NOCC, if you should ever be interested.
Best wishes.

Sorry to hear this. Sounds like you are ready to fight and evict the cancer right on out of you. Sounds like they will be using a different chemo this time and I pray that this one works for you.

I like that phrase--evict the cancer. So with the first chemo, thoser cancer cells are going to get hit with an eviction notice and if they know what's good, they'll move right on out and stay away!

You remind me of a lovely lady I met while I was getting chemo. She was 10+ years in recovery and she said the MOST IMPORTANT thing was to keep a postive attitude! You've got a good handle on that.

Glad to hear you're not going to lose your hair this time!

My thoughts and prayers are with you that this chemo is going to be what it takes to tell any remaining cancer cells to "Hit the road, Jack! (And don't you come back no more, no more, no more, NO MORE!!)".
