Looks like surgery went well

Hi ladies, it looks like my surgery went well. I did have a remnant
on my ureter, new endo on my rectum, and adhesions GALORE. Doc said
he had never seen this many so soon after surgery (but does not often
go in this soon). Anyway, I have a vertical and it hurts, 28 staples
this time.Doctors are all pretty confident this time. I had two
gynb/onc docs. And they realy took their time. I am walking and
FINALLY had a BM today!!! My surgery if you don't remember, was last
Monday. I got to go home Thursday so, that was really good for me
I am tired, but thought I would update you all.

Blessings,
Carrie

Carrie

Welcome back home. I am glad the surgery went well.
I'm sorry about so many staples though. Take it easy and don't do anything much! I hope your dr's got everything this time.

This sounds really hopeful! Staples coming out soon, I hope? I know I felt much better after they were out.

Looks like surgery went well

Hi Carrie:

Glad everything went well. I went through the same thing, 2 verticals in 4 months. After they took my remnant out and cleaned everything up, I am starting to feel a little better. I also had a lot of adhesions build up in a 4 month period and think I have them back again. Just be very careful not to over do it and get a lot of rest. It takes awhile.

Take care,

Cindy

Thank you all. today finds me feeling much better. I am still on the percocet though. Tried to go without and felt lousy. We drove the 3 hours yesterday to pick up our son and the 3 hours back today. I am glad he is home. It is supposed to rain for several days now and that weather is very condusive to resting and curling up on trhe sofa in front of the cozy fire.
