Laminectomy Anyone After TVH

Hi...I wondered if anyone has had to have a Laminectomy after there Hysterectomy? Due to a nerve problem, I'm to have one of these. Just curious as to the outcome of your surgery if you've had a Laminectomy.
I"ve had severe back pain since the day after my TVH. Down my buttocks, hip, thigh, down my leg and my leg and toes numb at times. Its all due to the disc heirnation on the nerve so there going in there to do some removal of disc material to help my pain thats been so intense since my TVH! Hopefully this will give me some relief. I've read alot and been told that it helps tremendously.
So please, if anyones had a Laminectomy, email me...let me know how your doing. Thanks!

I had a laminectomy some years back. You will be fine. Just like after your hysterectomy you have to take it easy for a few weeks. No pain whatsoever. I have not had my hysterectomy yet. I hope this is of some help to you.
