"O" My, What a side affect!!

This is something I haven't seen mentioned... maybe it was and I missed it... or maybe no one had the nerve... but I'm dying to know if anyone else has the same "issue"!

I'll be six weeks out on Friday and this started at about two weeks... I'm having dreams. Not just any old dream... really "pleaseant" dreams! Almost every single night I am having orgasms in my sleep. I wake up saying "#@*%, I wish I had been awake for that!"

This isn't just happening in my sleep, either! I'm on the verge all the time! While an orgasm is not a bad thing, sometimes it just isn't appropriate! Like when you're at work walking from your desk to the copier, or standing in the kitchen preparing dinner, or walking through the grocery store. ALL THE TIME!!

I'd like for my husband to get to be involved in some of this action! I've become my own best friend! lol!

I went to see DR on Monday for six week check up (5 1/2 weeks). When I mentioned this to him he put his finger on his chin as if to ponder the solution to my "problem". He was quiet for a minute and then said "Just enjoy it... it will fade!". Then with the next breath he cleared DH and I to resume sexual activity!! Happy Valentine's Day to me!! DH might need to double up on the vitamins!! lol!!

Pre-op I was really concerned about loss of labido and whether or not everything would still work. Not too worried about that any more!! lol!!

Okay, ladies, anyone else?

Yep, it's a miracle, don't you think? I also wondered why...maybe because all the stress on that part of our bodies has finally been taken away? Who knows?

Better get DH some Mega-Man vitamins!

ENJOY!

"O" My, What a side affect!!

I'm glad you asked the question that I was too embarassed to ask. I had a VERY GOOD dream the other night too. I was only 5 days post op when it happened and I was afraid having an "O" would be bad for the healing process. I haven't noticed any ill effects from my unexpected night of passion. I don't think I'll mention it to my Dr tomorrow at my 2 wk post op check. I'm just glad things are still working.

Shaffstall -
I appreciate the link...I guess I just missed it! It's all too funny!

While I have been a little concerned about the frequency at which the "O's" are happening (and when and where they're happening!)... I have certainly enjoyed the long-lost sensuality! I feel more like a woman than I did with all those woman parts still in me!

And, for those of you who have experienced this, it fades? I'm not sure if I think that is a good thing or if I feel a little disappointed?!?! lol!!

I'll just do as DR suggested and enjoy it while it lasts!

I just love this site and all of the woman who hang out here!! What a blessing!!
