Yes, There is life after adhesions

Hello sisters

Just wanted to say that 5 months post adhesion surgery and i'm feeling great. Adhesion don't have to be a life sentance if you find a skilled doctor to help you. Its so nice to be able to enjoy the benifits of the hyst thought they would never get hear. Aside from the other grief of my mothers loss i'm doing ok miss her very much. Love ya all lots of healing hugs

Yes, There is life after adhesions

Barb, I've thought about you often lately. So glad to hear you are back in great form physically. I know losing your Mom was so difficult for you and I hope you will remember all the good and funny stuff. That's what I do about my Dad.

Drop me a line occasionally and let me know how you are!

Yes, There is life after adhesions

Barbara great to hear from you and even greater to hear you are doing so well, we are all very happy for you. Just am recuperating from my adhesions surgery (via scope) and don't know if the dr just cut/released my adhesions or removed them....what did your dr do? I'm hoping that she took them out completely and I wonder if they can reattach themselves if they don't? I don't see her until next Wed so I don't know the whole story....let me know if you can , thanks!!

Yes, There is life after adhesions

Hi Gidge

My first adhesion surgery was just to cut them the second he removed them all and used adhesion barriers but it was also an abdo surgery the first one was done by scope. Yes, they can come back Sorry sweetie. Lots of healing and gentle hugs

Yes, There is life after adhesions

Hi everyone!

When I came round after TAH/BSO my consultant said that he had removed a lot of adhesions, apparently my bladder was stuck to my uterus! (prior to surgery I had no idea that I had adhesions, thought all the pain was down to the dermoid cysts I had).
Are adhesions likely to come back after having a hyst? What causes it in the first place? Any info you sisters can give me would be great!

Take care
