pain in lower left

I had a TAH/BSO on 12/21/04. I have not had any major problems except still some back pain which started all of this. I figure that will go away with time. I started back to work last week on Feb. 14. I am tired when I get home but hubby helps out alot. This morning while sitting at my desk I started noticing a dull pain in my lower left front. It is below my belly and hurts worse if I sit forward. Has anybody had anything like this before. I don't know if I should be concerned or if it is just part of the healing process. I have not had this pain at all since surgery.
My surgery was done surgically so this pain is not where the incision is. I would appreciate any feedbacks of anybody else having this kind of pain. I am fine as long as I sit still, but of course that is hard to do at work.
I also want to say thanks to all, this site helped me out quite a bit after my surgery.

pain in lower left

Please see my posting on back pain, posted today. I had a pulmonary embolism 4 wks. post-op. It started with shoulder pain and then shortness of breath and bad back pain around my ribs. If you have back pain, you should call your doctor and get it checked. They did an X-ray and couldn't be sure, then did a CT scan and found it. Pulmonary embolisms are something they tell you to be aware of in the first two weeks after surgery, but they can occur anytime for various reasons. So check with your doctor.

Thank you for your reply. The back pain I have has always been there. It was very severe during my period and that is why the doctors had a ultrasound done. They discovered a large cyst on my right ovary so that is why I had the surgery. Anyway, the pain in the front seems to better today, so I wonder if I lifted something to heavy and strained it a little. My doctor told me not to lift anything over 5 pounds which is not easy to avoid sometimes.
I hope you are feeling better and sorry that you have had to go through all that you have.
Thank you again for your reply.
