I am on primpro and wondering if that has something to do with these yeast infections... it has helped with my cystocele and rectocele though i can't imagine not taking it becasue of these yeast infection's!

help!!! 2nd. yeast infection in a month???????

Hello, dear. I've never had a yeast infection, but my Mom was especially prone to them at one time and has coached us girls (I have 2 sisters) on prevention.

You might look at your diet as part of the picture. Are you consuming quite a bit of carbs? Also, be sure you not wearing clothes that cause moisture to build up. Need lots of air circulation - trapped warm moisture is yeast heaven.

Cotton undies are essential. I recommend Victoria's Secret for really soft nice cotton. But, any 100% cotton panties will do. Not just cotton crotch ... all cotton. If you need to wear hosiery, then try thigh highs or stockings.

I am making the assumption you are self medicating and have not seen your GYN. If so, I think its time to at least call your GYN. You could be making things worse. You might at this point need a different or stronger medicine!

Take care.

You are so lucky Michelle!!!!!!

Michelle had a great suggestion on the is true that they have to be all cotton, not just the crotch. I had a horrific one when I was pregnant and had to stop wearing hose and switched to thigh-hi's.
If you have used OTC remedies and it comes back, you may need to go see your doc. It could be a stubborn case of yeast or it could be you really should get it checked out, especially since the OTC products aren't working effectively. Let us know how it goes.
