can't seem to shake this cough

The castle is a great place to go to get things from the other royalty that reside there. I am not sure what surgery you had but the intubation during the surgery can cause some throat discomfort. The oxygen, if you had any, will cause your throat to feel dry.

Please discuss this with your doc if it doesn't improve.

Hope it's nothing! I had a horrible cough PO, and the abdominal pain it caused was bad.
Get well!

can't seem to shake this cough

Hi broadwayfan;
I had a cough hanging around after my surgery too. It started when I got home and would wake me all night.
I assume it was my lungs expelling stuff.
I was a long time smoker and had quit about 3 years ago or so.
It did subside after a few days. If yours persists, call your doctor!

can't seem to shake this cough

Hi broadwayfan, I had the most agrivating tickle after surgery. When I woke I was so dry I couldn't concentrate on my pain! Try to drink lots of fluids. Sips of room temp water worked best for me. Sugary drinks could agrivate a cough. Also warm green tea, suppose to be good for the swelly belly too. And it never hurts to keep a pillow close by! speedy recovery to you.
