I just need to talk to people who understand

Casi,

You mentioned in your profile that you had to have "corrective surgery" from some complications from your hyst. If you don't mind my asking, what kind of complications did you have?

Casi,

I so happy for you that you are getting to see someone on Monday. You are in my prayers girlfriend for a pain-free weekend. I hope you are able to get some relief this weekend. Try to relax if you can. I know that when I was suffering with chronic facia pain the doctor would say, "You shouldn't still be having this pain." But it was still there. Don't know why it was. It was there for too long. I was very lucky it finally went away. But I remember I would try to do that visualization thingie like put myself in a peaceful place and darn it sometimes would work. Especially those times I would visualize myself on the beach and the cute tan cabana boy was bringing me a fruiting drink with a tiny little umbrella in it. Now that visualization always seemed to make my pain go away, even if it only lasted for a few seconds - dang it was worth it.

Well, heck, if that remedy doesn't work for you at least I hope it made you laugh. And sometimes laughter is a medicine in itself.

Take Care.

For real!!!!! And then there are some people who get totally looped by this medication---I wish I was one of them and wouldnt' have to take all this strong stuff.

Casi-----I am so glad you are going on Monday!! That is great!!!! Hopefully they will give you something stronger. Please make sure you are honest with them and tell them that you are getting no relief with the Darvocet. Also question them about the ponstel and what I found out about only taking it for 7 days. You have the right to adequate pain management, so stick to your guns and hopefully on Monday you will be telling us they gave you something stronger and you are feeling better. I will be sending good thoughts your way on Monday. Please let us know how it goes.
