Blood blister? What is this red thing?

I am 1 week post-op today! I'm feeling great, with one exception. I have a small red line about a half inch in length just on the side of my labia. It is very tender, no drainage, or swelling. What is this? It looks like a blood blister, as if the skin has been pinched. Has anyone else had this happen? My follow-up appt with DR is in a few days. This has just showed up in the past couple of days. I caught a cold the day I got home from the hospital. I've been coughing and sneezing ("ouchy waa waa"). At first, I thought it may have been that I pulled on the stiches as I coughed. I got the mirror to take a look and it's just a red line. Please if anyone knows what this is....
Thanks to all you gals. This website has made my last month fly by with ease.
