hurting feet

Hi everyone!

Wanted to post a question. For the past month, my feet (especially the right one) on the bottom have been really hurting me. It's not all the time, just when I start walking around.

I don't know what it is. I'm on Lupron, haven't had any "major" side effects. Do any of you know about reflexology? (Big toe represents head, etc.) Could it be connected to my fibroids?

The lupron has helped shrink, but lately I'm feeling as if I'm not shrinking anymore, maybe getting bigger again. I've had 4 months of Lupron and getting one more shot on the 15th. to tie me over until my surgery on April 8.

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks.

- Kim

Hi Kim,

I didn't take Lupron, and don't know anything about reflexology, but one of the side effects of Lupron is "numbness or tingling of the feet or lower legs", so even though you said it's painful, not tingling, maybe it's related to the Lupron?

The other thing I thought of is something called "Plantar Fasciitis" which is caused by the ligament at the bottom of your foot that can be extremely painful when you walk. There are exercises that you can do to to loosen the ligament up, if that's what is causing it.

Have you called your doctor about it yet? Please let us know what he/she says.

Thanks for replying. No I haven't told the doctor, but I will mention it to him. It's weird. It comes and goes.

Hopefully it will go after surgery and after I stop taking the lupron.

Thanks again!!

too, Kim!!

I wish I could say that I had just turned 40. Add 19 years to that for me.

I hope you had a great day with lots of neat s.

Thanks for the wishes!!

It still feels weird to say I'm 40. It doesn't matter what age you are, I think we Aquarians have young souls!!

I hope you had the same special birthday! Yes, nice presents and wanting to get the surgery over with already! Exactly one month from now, I will be recovering from TAH.

Take Care!
