Driving ( UK)

Hi

I am in the UK. I saw my doctor at 4 week and he gave me permission to drive short distances, and to return to work part time. BUT if I felt tired I had to go home immediatelty and not go to work if I felt awful or tired.

We live in the country and our nearest shop (12 foot square) is one mile away and we have only 4 buses a day here, but you have to walk half a mile to the stop!

I think a lot of it is how you feel. I felt great at 4 weeks.

xx

Blue Magic,
I also live in the country and it has lots of advantages and some disadvantages you find out about during recovery. Our nearest shop is 9 miles away so my DH was very reluctant to let me drive at even 3 weeks. But since my first time out I have been fine. It amazing what a little freedom can do for your spirits. Be well and all drive safely
