Third post-op today! Wish Me Luck! :)

Hi, ladies! I have my third post-op checkup today. At my second one, my doctor didn't "release" me because I had a bad infection and a UTI, along with stitches still in there. He tried loosening them, but it hurt too much.
So, I hope today goes well and I get the green light to have a real life again! I'm sort of nervous.
It's been a challenge bonding with my almost four-year-old. I was in bed for essentially the last 2.5 years of his life, and now, suddenly, he has to stay home with me, obey me, listen to me, and learn to trust me. I worry that he felt I had abandoned him while I was so sick. And now I feel better, burst onto the scene, and take over. He's got to be a little resentful about that. But maybe he isn't. Maybe he's happy to have Mommy back.
I cannot wait to get this checkup over with, but it's not 'til 3 p.m. Urgh. I hate waiting!
Have a good day, everyone!

Third post-op today! Wish Me Luck! :)

Hi sistersong,

Hope all goes good with your appt. today.

We had our hyst's about the same time yours was 2 days after mine. I am not back to work yet due to some minor setbacks but will go back part time next week.

I'm sure your little one is happy mommy's home with him now, he is just going to test to see what the rules will be, and who will be making them, all normal things they do. I have my 3 year old grand daughter that lives with us and she had to push some, just to see if I had the same rules for her when I'm home all day. Now she is going to have to go back to not having grandma their all day, (we are real buddies) and she likes spending her days with me and helping out.

Let us know how the appt. goes.
